Sending limits and pace
Each account's emails per day and the wait between its emails — and how they work with a campaign's limits.
Every email account has two limits of its own. They hold across all your campaigns, and each campaign can slow it down further — never speed it up.
The account's limits
On Email accounts, click the account's address and find Sending limits:
- Emails per day — the most campaign emails it sends, all campaigns together. 15 by default, 1 to 100. 15 is a safe, conservative number.
- Minimum minutes between emails — the least time between two of its emails, whatever campaigns they're for. 1 by default, up to 60.
Click Save — for an account with a password, Save checks the login first, as when you connected it.

What counts
- Counted: every campaign email the account sent in the last 24 hours — first emails and follow-ups.
- Not counted: warm-up emails, which come on top (Warm up your email accounts), and the replies you write in the MasterInbox.
The campaign's limits
On a campaign's Options tab, each email account shows its limit — "bo@example.com · 15 per day". Under Pace the campaign adds its own (the campaign's options):
- Emails per day — automatic at first: "what the chosen accounts send per day together". Type a lower number to slow this campaign down, all its accounts together.
- Max new leads per day — leads contacted for the first time.
- Time gap between emails — minutes, per account: a minimum plus a random extra, 9 + 5 by default.

How they work together
An account sends a campaign's next email only when every limit allows it: the account's Emails per day and Minimum minutes between emails, the campaign's Emails per day and its time gap for that account, and the campaign's schedule. The lowest limit wins.
For example, three accounts at 15 a day give a campaign up to 45 emails a day — the campaign says so before you launch: "up to 45 emails per day". With the default gap of 9 + up to 5 minutes, each account sends its 15 in about three hours.
An account in two campaigns shares its 15 between them. The account's day is any 24 hours; a campaign's day starts at midnight in the campaign's time zone.
Note
An email account bought from us sends at most 95 emails per day, warm-up included — its mail host switches off an account that sends more than 100. See Buy domains and email accounts.
